Get out and vote!

The Massachusetts General Election is Tuesday, Nov. 3 with voters ready to make their selection on nine ballot questions – ranging from ending party primaries with a “jungle” primary and making recreational marijuana sales illegal (again) – and of the candidates for a wide array of offices including state-wide posts, Congressional seats, state legislators and county positions.

Three Belmont residents are on the ballot: William Brownsberger is running to retain his seat in the State Senate, Marian Ryan seeking re-election as Middlesex District Attorney, and Elizabeth Dionne, who is running to replace three-term incumbent Deb Goldberg as State Treasurer. While a long shot, Dionne has garnered the endorsement of both of Boston’s daily newspapers, a rare double for a Republican on the ballot.
